Homemade lasagna + game night

Sorry I haven't been posting as often. On Friday I had my wisdom teeth removed so I've been filled with oxycodone, moxicillin and Friday Night Lights! So far my recovery has been going pretty well with the exception of going in and out, being lethargic and swollen. I currently look like a chipmunk!

Here are some photos of Thursday night where a bunch of friends and we cooked homemade Butternut Squash Lasagna with this recipe. It was a successful! All of our friends enjoyed it. I definitely recommend everyone to check out the recipe. It was easy to follow and a hit at our little get together.

That night we also played a game called "Bang." Lots and lots of fun :]

  3. I'm going to have to try that recipe. I just love baking stuff!

I also love playing card games. I went to a family night with my boyfriend and we play this redneck card game and something else. Surprisingly I didn't get as many questions wrong as I thought I would lol.

  5. Oh man, getting those pesky wisdom teeth out is far from fun. Glad to hear you're recuperating alright! Laying in bed with my Netflix account was pretty much all I did for a few days afterwards...and have continued to do as often as I could since haha :) Take advantage of the sleep though! It's rare for college students to ever get any!

I just love all your pictures! What is this game and why have I never heard of it before?! From the looks of it, it looks pretty much awesome...and in spanish? I must check it out.

And thank you for always sending such sweet thoughts my way! It always makes my night!

  15. Melissa the butternut squash lasagna looks delicious!!! I entertain often at my home and usually have some interactive games going on through out the night. I'm planning another game night for next week and I just purchased a Spinning Wheel. I had no clue what kind of hors d'oeuvres or meal to prepare, but I'd really like to try to make that lasagna! I think my friends would be just as impressed as I am. Thanks so much for the ideas and I hope you and your friends enjoyed your game night!
